"So you've decided to get married and now you want to know what's the process. How do you go about getting a marriage license? What do you need to bring to get a marriage license? And so forth and so on. Hello! I'm Robert Todd. I'm here to answer the question, what documents are necessary to get a marriage license? Well, first of all, generally the laws of marriage are going to vary from state to state so you going to check the laws in the state in which you are going to marry. For example, if you're going to get married in the state where you live, that's one thing. But if you're going to go out to Las Vegas then you want to make sure that you are familiar with the laws in the state of Nevada. Generally speaking, you're just going to need a identification. Your spouse to be is going to need some sort of identification and you're going to need basically the fee that is required to obtain the marriage license. Generally speaking, you can get married anywhere, so long as the place that you're getting married complies with the laws where you're going to live. In other words, you want to be sure that you're not marrying someone of the same sex or you're marrying too close of a relative, or you're marrying more than one person. So, generally speaking, you want to check the laws of the state in which you're going to get married and the state laws in which you're going to reside. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching."
