"You and your spouse have thought about adopting a child or children and you heard about the number of special needs of children that are available throughout the country that are subject to adoption and so now you are considering a special needs adoption. Hello, I'm Robert Todd. I'm here to discuss special needs adoption. Well first of all, obviously special needs children are those with special needs. They either have some sort of physical handicap, psychological handicap or they have gone through an experience that provides them with a special need. Perhaps they are living in a country such as the United States where their language is not the primary language or something of that nature. But children with special needs can be very expensive and before you seriously consider this, we would strongly urge you to call the Adoption Subsidy Hotline and this is operated by the North American Council of Adoptable Children. That number is 1-800-470-6665. Again, don't start this process without talking to specialist that know something about adopting children with special needs. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching."
