"You are contemplating getting married and you want to be sure that you get a copy of your marriage license. Or, you later find that you want a copy of a marriage license and you want it free. Hello, I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer the question how to get a copy of a marriage license fee. Well, obviously, if you're not married yet, the day you get married the person marrying you is going to have to sign the marriage license. And so, if you ask them for a copy at that time, you can probably get a copy free. If you wait until after you're married and it's filed with the county clerk's office in the state in which you're married, you're going to have to contact that clerk's office and find out if they will provide you with a copy free. Short of that, you can visit the county in which you were married, obtain the marriage license and photocopy it at the clerk's office and you'll probably have to pay a small fee for photocopying it. And, if you want it certified, there's probably an additional fee. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching."
