"One day you find that you need a copy of your marriage certificate, or marriage license for some thing that you are applying for, or trying to obtain, but you don't know where it is, and you don't know how to obtain a copy of what you may have lost. Hello, I'm Robert Todd, and I'm here to answer the question, how to obtain a copy of your marriage certificate. Generally speaking, the easiest way is to contact the clerk of the courts of the county in which you were married, and provide them with identifying data, such as your name, and the name of your spouse, and the approximate date of your marriage, and they can direct you to the department, or describe for you the procedure that is necessary to obtain a copy of your marriage license, or marriage certificate. Failing that, if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, you can hire an outside agency to do basically the same steps that were previously outlined. I'm Robert Todd, and thank you for watching."
