"You or someone you know has recently become the victim of a burn injury and you have heard about some states and disability associated with being a burn victim. Hello, I'm Robert Todd. I'm here to answer the question, "Does a burn victim qualify for a permanent state disability?" Well this is a very broad question and it's going to depend on a lot of circumstances. First of all, now the laws in all fifty states are going to vary and secondly, it depends on what the nature of the burn victim injury was. For example, "Were you injured as a result of being a firefighter or police officer in a given state?" Or, "Where you the burn victim as a result of a drunk driver and so forth and so on. So perhaps the first place to look is your particular state's laws to see what it's covered and if you have a question, consult the services of an attorney specializing in personal injury. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching."
