"You many have been injured as a result of the negligence of another person and you're now talking about a settlement and you've heard this phrase, "personal injury settlement". You don't know what that's all about. Hello, I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to talk about personal injury settlements. Generally a personally injury settlement results when parties agreed to settle a case that rose out of the negligence of one person towards another causing that other person injury; either physical or psychological. The most obvious example is a motor vehicle accidents. Someone runs a red light, hits someone else causes them injury; perhaps they break their leg. Personal injury settlement in that matter would involve compensating the person whose leg was broken for their medical expenses, their loss wages and for such thing as pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life and the like. So the personal injury settlement would encompass all of them. This is a highly specialize area of the law and if you have a personal injury, we would strongly recommend that you consider hiring the services of an attorney that specializes in personal injury. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching."
