"You or someone you know may have recently been injured as the result of the negligence of someone else, and you've heard something about personal injury. Hello, I'm Robert Todd, and I'm here to talk about personal injury laws. Well first of all, if you or someone you know has been injured as the result of the negligence of someone else you may be eligible or entitled to compensation for your injuries, both physical and psychological. The concept of personal injury law means that the, what we call the tort feeser, the individual whose negligence caused the injuries, makes that person responsible for the injuries of the injured party. These injuries not only include medical expenses, loss of wages, but also such things as pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, and what are otherwise known as non-economic losses. Now, this is a very specialized area of the law, and if you believe you have a case or you are interested in finding out if you have a case you may want to seek the services of an attorney that specializes in personal injury law. And you may want to do so sooner than later because personal injury laws have a statute of limitations. I'm Robert Todd, and thank you for watching."
