"This is financial advisor, Patrick Munro, talking about how to apply for a car loan. Basically after you have gone out and negotiated with a dealer to get the very best price payable for a car and shopped your deal around at various other sundry dealers to get the absolute best rate, perhaps even check it on line then you can apply for your car loan. Primarily, use your own bank first as opposed to the dealer unless the dealer is offering significant cash back items that would help make your car purchase more financially sound. It is important when you apply for a car loan to make sure that your credit history is intact, that where you live is a significant length of time, that your job is stable as well. This will make you a good risk to the note holder on making the car loan. Also make sure you have a good bank account set up perhaps a checking account as well that they can draft the account on a monthly basis and this can save you up to a quarter percentage point on your car loan. Also make sure that you don't have a car loan that is too many months out there. Eighty four month car loans are no good because your car will be upside down in the note for a period of time if that is the case. This is financial advisor, Patrick Munro, talking about how to apply for a car loan."
