"Alright, now I'm going to take a minute to show you how to... the basics in playing goalie. When you're in the goal, first thing you want to do is you want to get yourself squared up, a good bounce on your toes, pick your arms up, your right hand if you're right handed at the top of the stick. Your left hand, bottom hand about a foot away from your top hand. You want to keep the butt end pointed out a little bit so you have a big surface to shoot at and every time the shot comes at you, like if they were shooting at the top right, I would step out with my right foot and step to the ball. So on the left side, step with the left foot to the ball. On the ground, when the ball is shot on the ground, you wanna... if it's going down right between your legs, you turn the stick upside down, and you get your body low so you get your whole body behind the shot. If the ball is off to the side, off to your off side, you swing the stick under and you still maintain your body behind the stick so the ball can bounce off you if you miss it with the stick and the opposite on the right side. You drop and you keep your body behind the shot. This is not a goalie stick. This is just a regular attack mid-fielder's stick. A goalie stick has a much bigger face to it. It's going to be about this tall and about this wide. It's got a big neck, kind of looks something like a butterfly net, but is far from it."
