",Let's talk about how to train a Peekapoo. Early obedience and socialization is very important with a Peekapoo. When we walk our dogs which we should be doing consistently, the dog is kept to our left on a relatively short leash. We don't want our dog to be able to go four feet in any one direction. When walking your Peekapoo take him for two thirty minute walks at least every day. Keep your dog on your left at heel which is lined up with your left leg and on a short leash so you have control of your dog's movements. It's important before walking with your dog, you repeat or say the command, heel before starting to walk. Teaching your Peekapoo how to sit is really important. It's one of the first commands they learn. While walking your Peekapoo on your left side in a heel position, when you're ready to give the command, come to a stop, say the command sit, gently touch the butt of your Peekapoo. At the same time, some upward pressure will help guide the dog right into the sit position. Let's talk about the stay command and the come command. From the sit position, turn around, face your dog and repeat the command stay as you're slowly moving back. When you get a short distance, ask the dog to come and praise him vigorously when he does. All these three commands, sit, stay and come can be practiced all together. Make sure you have the proper equipment, a proper collar that fits correctly and a leash."
