"Your physician will take a very detailed history of your symptoms with your aches and your pains and your location of the symptoms and when they have occurred. The physician will also put pressure on several points that are nine points that have been found to illicit pain in the positive fibromyalgia patient. Many of the symptoms with fibromyalgia will mimic those of arthritic patients, so the it's very good to tell the physician if you're having mental fog, where you're having aches and pains, when you do hurt, if you've had stress, what kind of chemicals you may be around, your nutritional status, what kind of things you eat and drink, so that they can make a clear diagnosis."
