"Chronic fatigue symptoms are quite variable. They named it chronic fatigue because you have long lasting fatigue with unknown origin, they don't know why you are so tired even after rest. It is unrelieved by rest, unrelieved by naps, unrelieved by good night sleeps. You can have muscle weakness, aches and pains, difficulty with work and other symptoms such as mental fogginess, and difficulty performing your job or taking care of your home. Chronic fatigue is diagnosed through a system of test but largely on the patient's symptoms, what the patient tells the doctor. It also is a diagnosis of exclusion, it's not another disease so it must be chronic fatigue."
