"Hi, I'm Karen Rodowicz and the owner of JK Flowers and I'm here to show you how to design a floral arrangement. The first thing you want to do with a floral arrangement is start with your greenery because that is the base of your floral arrangement. So, you're going to put in some simple greens on the bottom of your arrangement. Once you build in your greens, you then want to decide how high your arrangement wants to be. Does it want to be round? Does it want to be one sided? These are some of the things you want to think of as you doing the arrangement. So, I'm going to start here with some carnations and I am going to put these in up on the top and as I work my way around, I'm going to try to keep it balance. You can fill it in with a variety of different flowers, colors. You want to make sure that when you're doing arrangements, you have some different size flowers to make some different type of statements and then you want your greens and you want some small flowers which people consider filler flowers which I have here and once you place all your flowers in, you fill some with your filler flowers and when you're done and you finished all your flowers and your greenery and your filler flowers, your arrangement could look full and beautiful and something like that.
