"Hi, I'm Karen Rodowicz, the owner of JK Flowers and I'm here to show you how to make floral bows. The easiest thing to do, is to start off with the ribbon that you would like to make a bow with. An average sized bow is three yards. To make, to figure out the size of a yard, basically it is the end of your arm to about the middle of your nose. So I'm going to pull this ribbon out three times, and that will give me an estimated three yards of ribbon. When I want to figure out the size of my bow when it is finished you want to make it the loop, the first loop of the bow that you want done. So if I want a bow somewhat about this size this is the first loop I want to make. To keep the loop in place I like to use a piece of tape, you can use a stapler it's your choice and I just wind up the bow until I get to the end of my three yards. So now I have a large loop. At this point I take the loop, I fold it in half, I fold it in half again. I cut out some notches from each side of the ribbon so it is an upside down V, it will look like that. I'm going to use a pipe cleaner to wind the ribbon up. You can use ribbon or anything you choose. I'm then going to pull out the loops to make my bow. Once you pull out both sides you now have a floral bow. I hope this was helpful, Karen Radowicz, JK Flowers."
