"Hi, I'm Charlie your outdoor expert. So, you want to know how to survive out in the wilderness. Well, sounds like you want to go hiking, huh? First thing you want to consider, is say, what if? What if, what if, what if? Say if you're going hiking, you want to go ahead and pre-plan your route. Go ahead on the map and mark out where you're going to go. And also reference from the trail, know where different sources of water are or the main highway. In case you need to get back, in case of emergency. The best thing for that, make yourself a little investment, get you a GPS. Also, make sure you've got enough food and water. The best thing to carry if you're going hiking, is a nice hydration bag. That way, you've got water on you at all times. And also, get yourself a water purification system. For if you get low and you're out and didn't take enough water with you. You can go to the nearest stream and fill yourself back up. Another thing is hygiene, the best thing to take for you, are these wipes right here. Make sure you wipe off yourself, maybe if you're sweating all day. Wipe yourself off, before you go to bed and when you wake up in the morning. Also keep in mind, you know, maybe if you don't want to attract bears, you're going to be all stinky. But it's still good to feel you know, nice and refreshed with some deodorant or shaving. Make sure you brush your teeth, don't want to get gingivitis out there in the woods. Now, some good tools to have to when you're out in the wilderness, one of these. One of these multi-functional tools. This has been several times I've been out and I've needed one of these. Just because of the different gadgets that come on them, it's really useful. Make sure you've got some form of bug repellent. Of course, do also think about the size of the bag. If you're going to go out for several days, this isn't probably a big enough bag. This bag here is good for like a day or so. Well, with that in mind, hopefully these are some good tips for you, if you're going to go out in the wilderness, maybe hiking.
