"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes, life and relationship coach here in New York City, and the author of It's All About You. To propose romantically, you don't have to, you know, really think outside the box and do something that no one else has done before. I mean, yeah, those kind of things are fun, but I think if you know that your woman really wants to marry you, I think then she's just going to be so excited that you did. So I think if you can know your woman and know what would be most important to her. Is she the kind of girl that likes to be the center of attention -- that if you put it up on the board at the game, that, you know, everybody's going to see it? Then think about those things, you know. It's, like, I think she'd think it's wonderfully romantic if she likes to be the center of attention that it's in front of a lot of people and it's all about her. But if she's kind of more personal and it's more...if you're so wonderfully in love and it's really just about the two of you, then try to do it in an intimate moment where it's really just the two of you where she's just so happy to be with you and you pull out this ring. Then, you know... It's not so much about how you do it or where you do it, although keep in mind, people are going to ask you that question for the rest of your relationship. "Oh, how did he propose?" But really, make it something that fits your girl and what you think she'll like and you can't go wrong."
