"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes, life and relationship coach here in New York City and the author of "It's All About You." To add a romantic touch to the bedroom, get rid of everything that's not romantic. The bedroom is not the place to have pictures of your parents and and you know, all things like that, and if you have kids, it's not a kid's zone. And I really think it's a great idea that your kids are not allowed in your bedroom unless they knock. You know, people that have their kids sleep with them, you know the kids can just come in and out, that's asking for trouble and and killing your love life, so to make the bedroom romantic, first of all, remove everything that's not romantic. That should be your haven of just the two of you together. So then, make sure that you have good lighting, flattering lighting for everybody, so that, dimmers are a great way that so that if you're getting dressed in the morning and you need more light, you can have it, but then when it's in the evening and you want to play a little bit, you can slide the dimmer down. And candles are fabulous. You can always have candles around. That's a great way to set the mood. Make sure you have a good stereo of some sort or great iPod speakers and and have a nice playlist ready to go, several of them that you can select from that create nice ambiance for the, for the bedroom, and above all, do not have a television in your bedroom 'cause you'll end up in laying in bed, you'll get in bed, just start watchin' T.V. It it just it kills the romance. I think the bedroom really should be for sleeping or for spending quality time with each other that's really just about each other instead of all sorts of other outside distractions, so if you get some fun sheets, maybe try out a different texture a sheets, try satin sheets or something fun that, like satin sheets are very slippery. You just, something to give you a little bit of a playful mood or try a leapord pattern or just something that's different to give you a nice, fresh take on it and really fluff things up. Get some big fluffy pillows that you can really just like get snuggled up down into or have a pillow fight, anything to really just freshen it up and and have a nice, just different feel to it from the rest of the house. Make it your sexy romance haven."
