"Hello my name is Alicia Lowther, licensed real estate professional with Realty Executives and I'm going to give you some tips on how to sale a manufactured home. The selling process is the same, what you'll want to do is market it, then it goes to contract, and then you close. The one thing I'll recommend with a manufactured home is that you do receive an appraisal so that it can be priced adequately for today's market. In the past manufactured homes have depreciated in value, but that's not the case as much any longer because of higher building standards. Another option would be to go to a lender and research who has manufactured loans so that you can have that information available when you get someone who is ready to purchase; you can already point them in the direction of a lender. Lastly one thing you want to do is keep your place clean, de clutter, get rid of items; you're moving anyway so go ahead and start packing. Especially in a smaller living space you want to get rid of items so that the space looks larger. Keep it clean and show ready.
