"Hi, I'm Dr. David Thomas. I'm a Practicing Psychotherapist with Weed For Thomas Group in Tampa, Florida, here to discuss what is Suboxone. Suboxone is a medication used to treat narcotic addiction primarily opioid addiction. The, the nice thing about Suboxone is historically how we treated narcotic addiction, opioid addiction which is through Methadone. And Methadone is dispensed through specific clinics throughout the United States, so there's some limitation and also access is difficult for rural areas and all that; for folks who are trying to recover from opioid or pain pill addiction. So Suboxone is prescribed by physician, by your family doctor. They sort of need have some training all that in order to do that. So the access to remedies for opioid addiction or narcotic addiction is much more readily available today; not only through Methadone clinics but more importantly now through the, through the medication dispensement of Suboxone and you can see that by or from your family doctor or psychiatrist. Most people who prescribe or use Suboxone have some background in addictions. So that's what Suboxone is use for. Hope this information has been helpful to you. In Tampa, Florida here, I'm Dr. David Thomas. Thank you."
