"A visitor I mothered, wrapping up my chamber door, only this and nothing more. Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here, just waxing intellectual of the little bit of literary knowledge. How can you make an audio book using your Mac? Well, the first thing you need to do is record an audio book or come up with an audio book. I'm just using the Garage Band program here to lay down my voice, clean it up and once I've got it and I'm ready to export it and put it into iTunes, let me show you how to tell iTunes it's an audio book so you can listen to it and put it in the right format on your iPod or iPhone. To computer; it's real easy, once your file is here; in fact, I'm just going to go ahead and use this Alice In Chains song here, The Killer Is Me and pretend this is my book. Actually, it works with just about any song. Then I'm going to right click or double tap if you're using the pad. Go down or up to the top here rather to get info. Clicking on get info, you're going to see your info screen popping up here; we're going to move over to options and if you look at options, you'll see media kind and believe it or not, let's just shuffle this for music, to audio book; we hit okay. Now where there are some other, other things in default that I recommend. First thing, volume adjustment; I like to kick up anything as an audio book; a couple points on my audio adjustment. Equalizer preset; I do go ahead and do that with a, a vocal booster or spoken word depending and actually I'll use small speakers if I know I'm only going to listen to it on my iPod/iPhone. Here the start time is if you want it to start somewhere in the middle; but this one is a must for longer audio books in my opinion; remember, play back position. Also, skip when shuffling because there's nothing like listening to; you know, being in the middle of listening to Beatles than Beastie Boys and then all of a sudden and hour long Harry Potter book or a chapter one of a Harry Potter book every twenty four hours; those books can become out in the middle of it, it's sort of a; it's sort of takes a little bit of the spark out of the moment. Simply hit okay and you're ready to listen to your audio book on your mobile device or right there on your iTunes. So have fun with it, create your own audio books. Hey, share them on iTunes; like me, Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert saying, "Stream you later.""
