"Hey, it's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here. And we're talking how to make a Power Point presentation on a Mac. Now Power Point is a copy written in proprietary term, used by Microsoft Corporation for their presentation program, their slide show program. If you're using it on a Mac computer, you're trying to design it there, you have to get that program on to your Mac. Now, there's a couple of different ways to go about this. The first and the easiest way is, is that you can get Office Mac, and that's a program suite designed and produced by Microsoft Corporation using all their names, all your favorite programs, Excel, Power Point, Front Page, all right there and you simply load it like any program, it's designed to work with a Mac OS. Another way to do it is if you're running Parallels or VM Work Fusion which is a virtual machine program, you can not only put that on to the computer, then you load Windows XP on top of it, so you're running both, OS ten and XP on the same computer and then you can run or load and run any Windows XP program including Microsoft Office. Another way to do it is ask yourself, Am I, do I really want to use Power Point or am I just trying to do a Power Point, watch this, a Power Point presentation, sorry about the air quotes there guys. But a Power Point presentation, a generic term for like I say a slide show or a business presentation software, your best bet, least expensive by far, is to get involved with iWork, the Mac Office Suite of programs. I recommend them highly. The o nine version has come up with some great compatibility patches, meaning that it works for the most part seamlessly with the Microsoft Office Suite, meaning the rest of the world, But their Keynote program uses the Mac drag and drop technique and fully integrated with your iTunes, and iPhoto. The templates and the things are just Mactastic. I say that because they've got the traditional just the Mac and graphic je ne c'est quoi about its awesomeness. I use it all the time, it literally is drag and drop, and you can get the Mac Office Suite, the iWork Suite for well under a hundred dollars. Where if you go any of the other routes, you're looking at about seventy nine dollars to a hundred dollars for VM Work Fusion or Parallels, then several hundred dollars to buy WindowsXP and then several hundred dollars on top of that to own Microsoft Office Suite. So by far if you want to get, if your goal is to get the best presentation for your business and you own a Mac, go to iWork, load that. It would take you five minutes to create a very dynamic presentation. But if you know Power Point and you want to stay in that direction, it's a very easy step to get that done.
