"It's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here and you've decided to go ahead and buy a Mac laptop. Congratulations, welcome to the fold, we've been waiting for you. But you want to know how to do it. Well I'm glad you asked. There's a few ways to go about purchasing a Mac laptop, first of all you need about a thousand dollars to begin with, between a thousand and 2,000 dollars depending on your needs and a place to purchase it. Now some of the choices you have to purchase a Mac laptop now from an official dealer, officially in a physical brick and mortar store is of course the Apple store. You're going to find, obviously they know the very most about their products. If there's one near you, just go ahead and bring your credit card in, tell them you're looking for a Mac and they'll set you up. Also most BestBuy's now if you have one in your neighborhood have entire Mac sections with Mac specialists that are there to help you find the right unit. If you don't know, there's a few major flavors in Mac laptops to consider. One in front of me here is the Macbook Air. It's main principle or it's main purpose in life is extremely thin and small. If you're looking for something highly portable and that is the main concern, extreme portability and extreme awesomeness, the Macbook Air is the computer for you. I recommend though if you only own one Mac or one Apple, that it not be the Macbook Air. I find this to be an excellent accessory to another computer. I've got a Macbook Pro and a G5 Quad and this becomes a satellite to it but if you're considering only a, you're buying one computer and it's your first Mac then this may not be the unit for you. You may consider the standard Macbook. Now they've offered two different flavors of them. The plastic casing like you see here now more of an entry level one which came out in early 2000 and, and then in early 2009 rather, they came out with a full framed aluminum body and they get a few hundred dollars more for that one, a bit more rugged and they've clocked it a little bit meaning that there's a little bit more, little bit better RAM and a little bit better storage space in it. And then if you're a very serious user, the very beautiful and very ubiquitous Macbook Pro. Very serious computer and a very serious, in a very small chassis for what you get there. Now if you want to go online of course you can go to the Apple store online, they'll be happy to take your money and ship you off either a brand new or refurbished Mac laptop and there are some official off sellers. Just a little bit of a warning, if you find a Mac laptop that's not refurbished, that is significantly, a significant savings compared to the prices you've seen anywhere else, it is most likely a scam. Apple controls the pricing, hardware as you may or may not know has very little margin. So if you see a brand new unit that's 500 dollars less then Mac's selling it for, be very wary. Don't be like a friend of mine and be shipped a box of bricks. So anytime you buy a serious piece of hardware, let the buyer beware like me ROKOSZ, your digital lifestyle expert saying we'll stream you later."
