"What is the yearly salary of a fashion buyer? Fashion buyer has the potential earning of up to a hundred thousand per year. But to become a successful fashion buyer, you have to learn the key tools for this. And this is learning the trend. When you do purchasing for department store boutiques, you're doing one to two years season or one to two seasons at advance. So, it's knowing the trends that you build up would fit the store or the department store that you're going for, as well as keeping a very good inventory on the budget that you have and what are you spending it on. Buyers need to make sure that they have a good sense of budgeting, the inventory or budgeting and also as well as their inventory of the purchase that they make. So that after the season is over, they don't have too many stock of things that did not sell. So they do need to know what things are people want and what are the upcoming trends so they could make a selections. A good buyers are very key person in department store and that's why their yearly salary is, that could be very you know, rewarding is because of this. So you'd actually be attending all the fashion shows and knowing what's coming up and making selections from personal opinions or learning the market of what people were in. And a lot of times people do start other than getting a degree on this, is well, it's working in retail stores because you get to see in first hand what people are buying. You know, so if you're working for someone for a teenager and you're older adult, you would see a little; you know, little specification on the key that teenagers love; this type of jeans they like this. So you'd kind of have more of a, of a, of an idea of what, you know, what to look for or what to buy."
