"What does a fashion director do? Fashion director's key responsibility is to have a unified look for a department store, a magazine, a media company. Who are your targeted clients and who are you trying to promote to? Is it going to be teenagers, men, women and the direction that needs to be gone with them. It's also looking a past trends and foreseeing what's going to be up in the future if you want to be a little bit more creative and go with a different direction to do that. Or, if want to kind of stay the same, knowing what, you know, what they've done in the past and continuing with that. Other things that fashion directors do is organize photo shoots, runways campaigns, advertising, over-see pretty much how things are going and if it's heading towards the direction that the client wants. So, if their client would want a specific feel or ambiance for their next collection for the runway shows, for the campaigns, for the editorials, they're supposed to project that the best way as the client would want them to. It's a great job. It's very fast-paced. You get to meet and work with a lot of creative people. Get used to stress because it will be there, because you have to be a person who is on time and very detailed oriented. And, that's a little information on a fashion director."
