"Hi! This is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. When you're picking a dog trainer you really want to try to find somebody that you're really comfortable with. You know, if that means interviewing a couple people or a few people, you know, that's fine then that's what you need to do. You know, you really want to find some of that you're compatible with, that you, that you appreciate their techniques because there's several different techniques out there. You know, there's some, you know, they call foodies where they, you know, they, every type of training that they do they really use, they use treats for everything. There are some more naturalistic techniques which I use, you know, as more along the lines of similar of dog whisperer type of thing where we're using, we're using a choker if we need to, sometimes a prong collar, you know, and we're our type of methods are based more along the lines of respect and the alpha dog and leadership with the dog-human relationship. So, when you're picking a trainer, try to find someone that you're really quick with, you know, and whose shown you that they're really passionate and care about dogs."
