"How to get an extended vehicle warranty. What you do is, talk to the finance manager, or they may call it business manager, and directly get a price on how long of a warranty you want. Find out what the deductible will be, sometimes it's zero, sometimes it's fifty, a hundred, two hundred. I believe it can go up to five hundred dollars on a warranty. So you want to make sure that it is for the duration of, maybe you keeping the vehicle, but if you are buying a vehicle and you want an extended warranty on the one you are buying. Find out, because if you are buying a Volvo from a Volvo dealership normally it has a certified warranty already included. You would not have to buy anything else, because you are getting a warranty from the dealer. Usually a zero dollar deductible usually goes up to one hundred thousand mile, it's normally six years from the first in service date. But if it doesn't have one, you are buying a used vehicle from any establishment, find out all the opportunities. Find out how long the company has been around that you are considering buying the extended warranty from. Find out what the deductibles are, and how long that warranty will last."
