"I'm Dave Fadel from Fadel's Jewelry in Bountiful, Utah. Today, we're going to discuss how to design your bridal ring set. The first thing to realize is that somebody has an idea of exactly what they want. It's usually the gal who's been dreaming about this ring for years. And she'll search the Internet or she'll either sketch a ring of what she has in mind for her bridal ring set, bring it to a jeweler, and the jeweler can build upon ideas. They can go over the inventory that he has in stock, seeing if there's anything close to what she has in mind. And if not and it becomes necessary to custom-make a bridal ring set, it usually begins with a sketch. And then after the sketch, we provide a wax of her idea. And from this wax, we cast that into a metal of her choice -- platinum, 14k gold, white or yellow gold, 18k gold, whatever she desires. And then we set the diamonds in the casting and polish it, and then it's presented to her for final inspection and approval. And that's basically the way you design a bridal ring set."
