"Hi everyone I'm Russ Handler. So here's a few tips on buying airline tickets. What I like to do is I like to go directly through the airline. I also like to utilize any special promotions that they have available and of course my air miles if they apply. The best thing I can tell you is when you want to book your trip definitely book plenty in advance. If you know that you are going away in December in February you might just want to go ahead and lock in the best price then and there and make sure that when you do buy your ticket that there are some provisions just in case you need to bail out of that trip especially if you are booking long term and far in advance. Now the other side of the coin is to save a little bit of money you could also do some last minute booking. On a lot of occasions airlines don't have full flights and they'll do just about anything to get somebody else on board and bring in a little bit of extra revenue. So there are two sides to buying tickets, long term in advance will generally save you a lot of money and last minute deals are also quite effective. Just make sure that if you need or rather if you think you might not be able to make that trip that your ticket is either referable or transferable to or rather refundable or transferable to another date and time and good luck with your trip."
