"Hi everyone I'm Russ Handler. So you want to plan a train travel route. Well there really aren't a lot of options available. There is Amtrak and that is the real only way to do it unless you are talking about local transport. But let's look at the bigger picture for just a minute. O'kay, Amtrak for instance. In many cases they will have a direct route or they will have an indirect route. So what you want to do is you want to get on their website and you want to find out what trains and what the names are of the trains and where they go, when they stop, how often they stop. Again with local transportation and with national transportation there is generally an express route or there is a route that doesn't go so expressly. In other words, if you take a train from Baltimore to Newark, New Jersey in some cases you might be able to get an express route. In other cases, a more cheaper option may be the indirect route which might go through Philly and might make a lot of stops so when planning your train route what you want to do is check with the local carrier and make sure that there is not going to be too many stops on the way and basically see what your options are. There are a lot of options from express to semi express to downright you are going to stop a million times before you get to your destination. So when planning your route, get on line. see what's available to you and have a great trip."
