"Hi everyone I'm Russ Handler and you know, let's say you want to be a travel agent and you are wondering how to get trained as a travel agent. Well there is many many ways to do it. They range from inexpensive to full blown, very expensive ways to do it. In fact some organizations will actually allow you to become a travel agent under their travel license and they will provide a lot of training for you but in some cases that is going to cost you an upfront fee. Now there are many areas or places on line where you could just simply google how to become a travel agent. You could get the training in correspondence courses, you can get the training by actually signing up with an organization to become a licensed agent for them and the training is then provided. I recommend that if you want to be your own travel agent that you partner with a reputable organization that will allow you to train and give you the support and the ongoing training that you require to really really do it well. Keep in mind some travel agencies that you sign up with on line simply just provide you a travel engine and ask you to go out and sell it but others will actually teach you how to sell travel, teach you how to book travel and really teach you the ins and outs from a to z of becoming a travel agent. There is lots of options many of which are available to you on line. I just caution you don't do the ones that are going to cost you too much money and good luck in your search."
