"This is financial advisor Patrick Munro talking about how to get free help to stop foreclosure. Foreclosure is a situation that if it comes upon you, you need all the help you can get but be cautious in this world that we live in right now. There are many identity thieves cruising the Internet looking for people that supposedly want help to get out of a foreclosure. And they are asking them not only for their social security numbers and stealing their identity but also upfront fees. The only way to get free help on a foreclosure is to retain an attorney. There are several attorneys that are listed under foreclosure help on the Internet and they are available locally as well if you want to check your local resources. These individuals can represent you with a lender and obtain what's called a workout. A workout is a way for the bank who does not want to own the property by the way to give you some sort of grace or alter the repayment schedule so that you can stay in the home and still pay something to the bank. These are ways that are worthy to help you when it comes time for getting help for a foreclosure. This is financial advisor Patrick Munro."
