"Hello my name is Gabriela Garzon at G.G. Image & Etiquette Consulting in Miami, Florida. In order to dress thinner, you need to know a couple of tricks. I will start with dressing with one color. If you dress in one color from head to toe, it's going to be really easy to the eye because you're just making one whole line and will not break the body parts so therefore you're going to look thinner because you're not breaking the whole body. So if you dress in one color, either if it's darker colors or even light colors, you don't necessarily need to wear dark colors to look thinner if you're wearing one whole block of color. Another thing that you can do is when you're wearing accessories, you need to be aware that they need to be your own scale, like not be bigger than your facial scales or smaller. They need to be around the same scale of everything that you are, if you're petite, things need to be smaller, if you're really tall and have a really large bone structure, then you're going to need bigger accessories. That's another way to just go ahead and look thinner or bigger. Another thing that you can do is you should avoid shoes that have straps on their ankles because that will always make your legs look thinner and the bottom part will always look actually fatter than the rest of the body so just avoid the straps on ankles. Another thing that you can do is that you can play with your face and your hair. If you have a very round face or a bigger face you need to play with waves around your face and you need to make some volume. So in order that you're face will not look as big as it is, you're just playing. So like I said, you just need to learn a very few tricks to just go ahead and do them on yourself for you to look thinner."
