"When I design a prom dress it is kind of one of those glass half-empty half-full kind of deals. You certainly love working with the prom girls because they have so much vision and they are so excited and they have so much passion for it and they never, a lot of times it is something that is completely new to them so it is a lot of fun the gleam in their eyes. It is a lot of times just talking about what they want. It is a lot of times you have to explain to them that some things are a little over the top or you have to let them know about the cost of fabric and things like that so most of the time the spent designing a prom dress is working with the personal selling so the client relationship and once that is established the dress itself kind of goes back to the other steps that I use for any other garment. Once I have spent that much time with a client I know her, I know her personal characteristics whether she is bubbly, whether she has great shoulders, the attributes she loves about herself and those are the biggest factors that go into designing a prom dress and really make it her dream come to life."
