"Well my day as a fashion designer starts with me waking up in the morning and trying to get down all the things that have come into my head and then after I jot those down over coffee and wake up I make a to-do list for the day. Now as an independent fashion designer and just starting out my day usually in the morning begins with doing marketing, things of that nature and then after lunch time even if my marketing and my paper work is not done I sew. I think it is very important to sew for hours every day there are a lot of ideas that come to you as evolution of a design that you are working on and it turns into something completely different and a new design but it would have never come to you if you had only relied on the things that you sketched out and I think that that is one thing that gets lost with designers as you get larger is that you end up getting teams of people, groups of designers and then you become more of a creative director instead of a fashion designer so for me that is kind of a peeve of mine and it is something that I really promise to always do is to have my hours of sewing every day that I remain a fashion designer, the true sense or the true definition of the word."
