"Alright we're going to talk about how to become a stock researcher. Really anybody can be a stock researcher. It's going to depend, the question is do you want to do this as a professional or do you want to do this as a more of a hobby and for your own personal needs. To become a researcher of stock, there's so much information available on the Internet right now and there's a lot of information available through different publications such as Morning Star, Standard and Poor's, all these reports and so forth you can also have hard copies of these sent right to your door. But to be a stock researcher as a profession, you are going to need the educational background, most houses that do research are going to look for someone with a quantitative or a mathematical background. Someone who has a degree in finance, etcetera. So becoming a stock researcher is actually quite simple, it's just a matter of whether or not that's something that interests you and some people really have a passion for it. You can spend all day really just pulling apart an equity and really digging deep into a company and seeing how it's put together and what the value is. So becoming a stock researcher if you want to do it as a hobby, very easy. If you want to do it as a professional, it's really to look for the positions that are open out there and make sure that you have the educational credentials required."
