"So, what is day trading? Day trading put simply is trading stocks, another securities. During the day what you're trying to do is do intra-day trading which means that from the open of the market to the close of the market, you want to be making buys and sells, and what you're trying to do is take shorts amounts, short amounts of profit, small amounts of profit through the short up and down ticks in the market during the day. So, it's a very active, very fast paced type of occupation. Some people do it full time , some people have fun with it part-time but day trading really what you're doing is you have an account, you got a surplus of funds that you're able to work with and trade with on a daily basis. And daily, you're going to be buying and selling securities, and trying to making a profit on, you know, of course each one of those transactions during the day. It's a bit more, risky doesn't really have the luxury of a long term time horizon because it is during one day of trading. But also some people who are very successful and know how to analyze the markets have been quite successful with it, and then and made actually an enjoyable living doing it. So, if you enjoy trading, it's certainly something to look at and it's, just remember that it is during the day, it's intra-day, very fast paced so you need to be on your toes and have all your research ready to go."
