"Hi, I'm Dr. Larry Klein. I'm a dentist here in St. Petersburg, Florida and we're going to talk a little bit about what a pedodontist does. A pedodontist is a dentist who deals with specifically children and young adults. A pedodontist is, has extra training specifically in those needs and also is trained in hospital dentistry for those type of ages. A pedodontist serves the general dentist a tremendous service of being able to to take on a lot of the harder cases of children that are maybe not as cooperative. A lot of mentally handicapped children will not be well behaved or cannot sit still in a regular dental chair. They also perform hospital dentistry for these type of patients. Also, a lot of times, kids, children, just want to go into more of a a a kid friendly environment. A lot of these pedodontists have special offices that have oh, special games, special chairs, and special magazines specifically targeted for the younger children. So if you have any other questions about what pedodontists do, or how they can be of service to you, please feel free to give me a call. My name is Dr. Larry Klein and I'm a dentist here in St. Petersburg, Florida."
