"Hi, I'm Dr. Larry Klein, I'm a dentist here in St. Petersburg, Florida and we're going to talk today a little bit about the different types of dentists. Well, you've probably heard a couple of them. Number one, of course, you've got the general dentist, like me, and we can take care of just about all your dental needs and we're trained in all different fields of that, but there's also very, very valuable dentists that we like to refer out to and those are specialists. The specialists involve people who do root canals, so an endodontist. We also have people that take care of specific treatment of the gums and those would be periodontists. We also have people that straighten teeth, or orthodontists. We have people that deal with very, very complex biting problems and dentures, that would be a prosthodontist. There's also dentists that take care of specific, a specifically just children, and those would be pedodontists. Probably leaving out some, but those are basically the types of specialists that we like to refer out to. Oh, of course, you've got the oral surgeons who who deal with the the more difficult extractions and maxillofacial trauma. So if you have any more questions about the dental specialties or gen, dentistry in general, feel free to give me a call, my name is Dr. Larry Klein and I'm a dentist here in Florida, St. Petersburg, where a smile is contagious!"
