"Hi I'm Dr. Larry Klein, I'm a dentist here in St. Petersburg, Florida. Today we are going to be talking about what a dental technician does. Oh gosh dental technician is so valuable to me because the dental technician, he's the one that basically helps make the dentures. He helps make the crowns, he helps make the partials. There's the space maintainers, and braces and different types of things as far as retainers. It's a great, great service to the dentist and to the patients in general. It does take some training to become a dental technician and there are different schools that you go to, it's about a two year program. If you ever wondered where a denture comes and how it's made, it's a fascinating process that dental technicians go through to learn the specific steps and how to create form and harmony for the person to be able to utilize and function in their mouth like a normal chewing teeth. So if you have any other questions about dental technicians feel free to give me a call. I'm Dr. Larry Klein here in St. Petersburg, Florida where a smile is contagious."
