"So I'm going to talk to you now about becoming a background dancer. Well first of off you want to stay in class and you want to always be working on your technique because that is the most important thing. You always want to be working on your technique. Once you have that technique, b, you want to then go and get your agent, your agent is then going to c, send you out on these auditions and feel comfortable in sending you out to these big auditions for whoever. If it is for a huge dance company or if it is for Brittany Spears or if it is for a Broadway show they are going to feel comfortable and you are going to go in there and with that technique and with your own style which is very important to have your own style you are going to book a job so you can't get to c without a so you definitely want to do all those three steps. Another important thing is meeting these choreographers, go to class and talk to these teachers that you are taking class from because you don't know who they are choreographing for. They could be choreographing for Marion or Janet Jackson or Chris Brown or Rhianna, I don't know. They could be your ticket in so always be social and likable and get a good name out there for yourself."
