First and foremost when becoming an acting agent you want to make sure you gain experience. So like I said, look for local agencies that have volunteer positions, internships and also paid positions, because eventually, everyone wants to get paid. You want to make sure you network and meet other acting agent in the industry and kind of learn the ins and outs and get your feet wet the acting agency world, as it's very competitive. It's great to always go to open casting calls and go sees to see what types of talent is out there, to begin a list. So when you do gain your clients and have your prospective client goal list, and you start getting some work. You have people to call and start sending them in for casting calls. Make sure you're networking and getting out there and remember it's not mandatory to have a degree as an acting agent but it's always beneficial to have an associates or bachelor's degree on that resume.
