"Here is a couple of notes about brewing herbs. The first thing you want to do is research the particular herb you are planning on brewing, and discover what it's best method is for that particular herb. Some herbs are different that others. There are a couple of methods though, one is infusing. To infuse is basically a process of steeping. So if you bring water to a boil, and then transfer it to a ceramic pot, put the herbs in, let it sit for a period of twenty to thirty minutes. An herbal infusion will last in your refrigerator for up to twenty-four hours. Another method for brewing herbs is to make a decoction. To make a decoction take three cups of water, break up some dried herbs, put them into a boiling sauce pan, and let them boil for about twenty, twenty-five minutes. After the decoction is boiled, strain it, cover it, and let it sit and steep. Allow it to cool before trying to drink it."
