"Hi, I'm Rebecca Guenther of m5a1photography.com, and I'm going to tell you what full manual exposure control is in photography. Now, what this means is that you're not letting your camera control any of the options. If you have it on fully automatic, it will set the shutter speed, it will...it will set the aperture, and it may even set your film speed. Once you switch it to fully manual, which there are options on the way you can set it so that, you know, you can control your aperture, it controls the shutter speed, vice versa. That would be, you know, partially manual. If you go full manual, what that means is that you are in charge of setting your shutter speed, your film speed, and your aperture. What that means is you could be over-exposed or you could be under-exposed. So you're going to want to make sure to use a light meter or to even just check the back of your camera and make sure that the picture looks good. You'll want to use this in more controlled settings or make sure if it's a sporting event or something outside, that you've tested the light first and made sure that your exposure is going to be correct. And what you'll do is you'll go in there and here's your film...here's your shutter speed, here's your aperture. You're just going to go through on your menu and adjust those and change those to whatever you want them to be, and that way, you'll have full control over, like I said, your shutter speed and your depth of field of focus. And that's what full manual exposure control is."
