"Hi this is Vince Preston with Metro Mobile RV Repair and today we are going to talk to you about disconnecting your shore water from your travel trailer mobile home. In other words you are going to roll up and leave, there are some sensitive, if you notice here you have got a fresh water connection. This is where you put water in your fresh water tank if you are going to run a pump, say you are going to be somewhere where you don't have water and you are going to be self contained so you would simply just fill this tank up and use that water to get you by. But most people when they are in an RV park and you are parked they will hook up to city water. This is your city water valve and it screws on just like a garden hose. My suggestion would be to use a white garden hose so that you are able to drink out of that hose. Green hoses and gray hoses you cannot drink from but if you are going to disconnect in order to leave you can simply unscrew it just like a garden hose or there is also after market products available that would screw on to this and at the end of your hose you would screw an adapter on to that and it is just a quick disconnect. In other words you pull the lever back, it pops right on. You have water press with no leaks and then when you are done you turn your water off, open the sink up so you let the pressure off the trailer and then you would just pull the little fitting down. It pops right off, roll your hose up and you're out of there."
