"This is Dr. Loretta Ciraldo. Board certified dermatologist and author of "Six Weeks to Sensational Skin." In this clip, I'm going to talk about how to prevent cellulite. Basically, cellulite which really comes from fat deposits that kind of press up against the surface of our skin, and make it look a little bit like cottage cheese deposits on your skin. This is really a genetic problem that happens in many girls especially more than boys around the time of puberty. And one of the best things you can do if you'd like to prevent cellulite is to equip yourself with a lot of stuff to carry, and why do we mean this, because we know that aerobics, to actually do some kind of weight training and strength training, and to keep your body really with increase circulation to areas like our thighs especially, but also areas like your upper arms. If we can be very aerobic and very exercise oriented, this is the best way to prevent cellulite. So, for instance, it's not a bad idea when you go to park your car at the garage, maybe you're going to the pizzeria. The best thing to do is to try to park as far from that pizzeria as you can. When you get to the pizzeria and you're about to take some great pizza in to your mouth, think about ordering pizza that doesn't have the mozzarella cheese on it, because besides that exercise and always thinking about being aerobic to prevent your cellulite, you also want to decrease your fat intake since cellulite is made worse by a fatty diet. The best of luck to you, it's Dr. Loretta Ciraldo."
