Lowing our blood pressure without drugs is easy. It's, again, about balance. What happens is we have a lot of stresses in our lives, and sometimes we allow those stresses to take over. And the more that we allow those stresses to take over emotionally, the more they affect us mentally and physically. So simple things like taking a walk when you're stressed out can help lower your blood pressure. Certain breathing exercises. Andrew Weil has an exercise where you breathe in through your nose for a count to seven. You hold it, and you breathe out through your mouth, except for you put your tongue to the top of your teeth. And what happens is it causes your system to calm down and destress itself. If you can do that for one or two times in a row, it actually resets your clock and it will help bring down your blood pressure. Simple things like meditation of just clearing your mind for a certain amount of time can help lower your blood pressure. Also, eating, again, whole foods and not things that are excess sugar or excess caffeine, which keep your body in the fight or flight. Take care of your body, and you'll be able to lower your blood pressure.
