Low blood sugar is when your body doesn't have enough to process through your systems, so it causes nausea, headaches, spaciness. You need a certain amount of sugar in your system in order to function, just like anything else. So everything that you eat is broken down into sugar. So if you don't have enough protein, then you're not having enough sugar in your system to maintain a certain type of energies. So you need a certain amount of protein, carbs, whole complex carbohydrates so that you can function on a normal basis because that's what we use. Sometimes it goes to our brain so that we can think faster; sometimes it goes to our hearts so that we can pump the amount of blood that we need through our system. Sometimes it goes through our immune system so that we can resist viruses. So low blood sugar is a sign that you're not getting enough of the nutrients and minerals from the foods and liquids that you're drinking in order to sustain your system properly. That's what low blood sugar is.
