"Let's talk a little bit about Bridesmaids' Luncheons, specifically how to plan a Bridesmaids' Luncheon. First I'm going to identify what is a Bridesmaids' Luncheon. This is an event in addition to a shower, a bachelorette, in addition to, in addition to a rehearsal dinner. This one is specifically thrown by the bride and/or her mother to show appreciation to her bridesmaids for all the hard work that they've done for them. So if you're looking to throw one of those, here's a little bit about it. This can be done on the day of the wedding, traditionally it has been done. However if that is a stressful thing and I think it could be, you can also do it the week before the wedding. It can literally be a luncheon or it can be a spa day. Whatever it is, it's an event that's designed to really show appreciation to these bridesmaids. If you're going to do a luncheon, go out to eat. This is not the time a week before your wedding for you to be cooking and cleaning and all that kind of stuff. Find a lovely little restaurant, go out treat your bridesmaids to lunch. If you don't want to do a luncheon again you can do a spa day, where you're all getting massages, Mani, Pedi's and show you're appreciation that way. And that would be a great way to do Bridesmaids' Luncheon as well. You're going to give a gift at this event and this is separate from the gift that you would give to your bridal party at a rehearsal dinner. This is a gift specifically designed to show deep appreciation for all of the help you have received from these women. This could be as simple as a heartfelt thank you note, you'd really be surprised at how far a hand written thank you note will go. It could be a bouquet of flowers, or a gift certificate for a massage on another day. Whatever it is, it's very very grateful, very very thankful, this event is all about appreciation."
