"Let's talk about how to host a theme wedding shower. Themes with wedding showers can make them so much fun, add a lot of creativity, gives your guests an area to go with gift giving which sometimes can be a little challenging and it doesn't have to be terribly complex. Ideas for themes are limitless once you determine one, you simply carry it through invitations, decorations, gifts and all that. To determine your theme, talk to your bride and find out what's she is into. Themes can be something very simple. Like a favorite color. If she is a fanatic for purple, make everything purple, your invitations, your decorations, your gifts can be whatever the guests want to give as long as it's purple. You can even have purple food, grapes, eggplant, things like that. You could take it up to another level, is she a wine aficionado. You can have a wine related shower for her where she receives gifts of fine wine, beautiful stemware things like that. Is she a gourmet cook, have a kitchen related shower. Or take it to another level have even more fun with it. There are no rules here. You can have a poker party, you can have a princess party, there's no rule that says grownup's can't have princess parties. You can even have a pirate themed party. And you have to call it a shower, but what ever it is just find that theme, run it all the way through from beginning to middle to end. Invitations, decorations, food and gifts. Have fun with this, it's a great time."
