"Hi I'm Teri and in this segment I'm going to teach you how to properly label a mailing envelope. So we have our envelope, let's get started. We start with where the letter is going and that goes in the very center of the envelope right smack dab in the middle. You want to start with the person you're sending it too and that goes on the top. Dear Joe Schlesinger, Mr. and Mrs. Schlesinger or whoever but be specific. Then or if it's a business, you'll put their business name, The Schlesinger Company, attention Joe Schlesinger. Then of course the address, 125 Main Street Avenue North or West or South but be specific again, don't miss out one detail. Then of course the city, Orlando, Florida. The zip code, 32807 and of course the country if it is going out of country make sure you put that on the last line. Now to make sure it gets where it's going, you also want to do a couple more things. Top left hand corner is your return address. That's your address, that's in case it gets lost somewhere in the mail, it'll come back to you. And then of course proper postage on the top right hand corner of your envelope. So make sure you have the proper postage and if you're not sure, go to your local postal service and they'll weigh it for you if it's a little heavier than normal it might take a little more than your average stamp or if it's going out of the country. Make sure it's sealed properly. Couple other things to keep in mind, let's say you're mailing a check for example, don't just include the check alone. Wrap it at least in a piece of paper or something so that it's not visible to the naked eye in an envelope. So you're all ready to mail your letter, hope it gets there on time."
